Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice, guidance, and oversight in support of an enterprise wireless (Wi-Fi) deployment initiative.
  • Provide authoritative advice on wireless requirements and support the definition, articulation, and documentation of enterprise needs and priorities.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project charters, project management plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
  • Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, resource requirements, and dependencies.
  • Establish and maintain project governance structures consistent with IM/IT frameworks.
  • Support business case development and project intake processes, as required.
  • Lead and coordinate project activities across internal stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
  • Monitor and control project scope, schedule, cost, risks, and issues.
  • Facilitate working groups, project team meetings, and governance briefings.
  • Provide senior-level advice and recommendations to management and governance bodies.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, dashboards, and briefing materials.
  • Ensure completion of project close-out activities, including lessons learned and final reporting.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience delivering large, complex, high-value government IT projects valued at $20M+.
  • Experience managing and overseeing complex, high-risk IT initiatives over $20M, including preparing and delivering executive-level briefings to senior leadership.
  • Experience drafting briefing notes and decision materials for senior executives.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and risk registers.
  • Experience producing clear, concise dashboards and reports to communicate project status, issues, and milestones to senior officials.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, governance, and security considerations.
  • Strong understanding of federal government decision-making structures and approval processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a senior advisory capacity.
