Scope of the Job
The Digital Manager plays a critical role in achieving the business objectives of Cirque du Soleil's Marketing team by leading the digital marketing strategy and execution across multiple markets and productions. This role is responsible for maximizing digital performance throughout the customer journey—from awareness to conversion—through paid media, analytics, audience development, and emerging digital platforms.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, using data and technology to continuously optimize marketing investments and drive ticket sales, revenue, and customer acquisition. They work collaboratively across internal departments and agency partners to ensure all digital initiatives support broader business objectives and deliver measurable results.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies across multiple North American markets.
- Plan, launch, optimize and report on digital campaigns across paid search, paid social, display, video, programmatic, YouTube and emerging digital channels.
- Collaborate with media agencies to develop digital media plans that maximize reach, efficiency, and ticket sales.
- Continuously optimize campaign performance through testing, audience refinement, creative optimization, and budget allocation.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, conversion rates, and return on advertising spend (ROAS).
- Monitor campaign performance using key digital KPIs including ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rate, revenue, website traffic, and customer acquisition.
- Develop dashboards and performance reports that provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Analyze customer behavior, attribution, audience trends, and market performance to inform future marketing decisions.
- Recommend budget reallocations based on campaign performance and business priorities.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives to improve conversion rates and user experience.
- Ensure digital assets are optimized for SEO, accessibility, and mobile-first experiences.
- Support first-party data strategies that strengthen audience targeting and personalization.
- Identify new audience opportunities using customer insights and digital analytics.
- Partner with Creative Services to develop high-performing digital creative assets tailored to each platform.
- Provide recommendations based on campaign data and platform best practices.
- Monitor emerging digital trends, technologies, AI tools, advertising platforms, and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, marketing technology, and new digital products.
- Evaluate new digital partnerships and beta opportunities with media platforms.
Background & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategy, media planning, customer acquisition, and performance marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-market digital campaigns with measurable business outcomes.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience managing agency relationships and cross-functional projects.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, media strategy, or eCommerce.
- Experience managing paid media campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, TikTok and programmatic platforms.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio (or similar reporting platforms).
- Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience working with digital media agencies.
- Strong understanding of attribution models, audience segmentation, and digital measurement.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
- Experience in live entertainment, ticketing, sports, attractions, or consumer experience brands considered a strong asset.
