About The Role

The Executive Assistant I is responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to senior leaders within FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance segment while serving as a key resource for the day-to-day operations of the Vancouver office.

This hybrid role combines executive support with office operations responsibilities, helping ensure the office runs efficiently while delivering exceptional service to leaders, employees, clients, and visitors. The successful candidate is highly organized, proactive, service-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

In FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance organization, we focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial, and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional opportunities faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies, and other stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary administrative resource for the Vancouver office, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the office run efficiently while delivering exceptional support to leaders, employees, clients, and visitors.

  • Provide administrative support to Senior Managing Directors, Managing Directors, and professionals within Corporate Finance, including scheduling meetings, conference calls, and virtual meetings; preparing correspondence, presentations, reports, and other business documents; managing confidential information; capturing time and expenses; maintaining Salesforce CRM contacts; and prioritizing incoming correspondence and requests.

  • Coordinate meeting logistics, weekly office lunches, catering, hospitality services, and office events while ensuring conference rooms and common areas are organized, fully stocked, and ready for use.

  • Manage office operations, including ordering and maintaining office, pantry, and kitchen supplies; overseeing coffee stations, copy/print areas, Xerox equipment, office printers, shredding services, archives, and general office inventory.

  • Serve as the liaison between the Vancouver office and Workplace Experience, IT, Facilities, building management, vendors, and other Corporate Services teams by coordinating maintenance requests, office improvements, equipment servicing, security access through the Datawatch system, and other operational needs.

  • Welcome clients, vendors, candidates, and new hires, ensuring a professional and positive office experience while supporting office access and visitor management.

  • Assist with office improvement projects, workstation setup, meeting room configurations, office moves, and special projects as needed.

  • Provide administrative overflow support across the practice and partner with Administrative Professionals across North America to ensure seamless support and office coverage.

  • Demonstrate flexibility by supporting additional business needs, seasonal initiatives, and special projects, including occasional overtime during peak business periods.

Basic Qualifications

  • Associates and/or College degree desired/Equivalent Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.

  • Strong customer service mindset and commitment to delivering an exceptional employee and client experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn firm technology and systems quickly.

  • Experience coordinating meetings, travel, office operations, and executive support in a professional services environment is preferred.

Compensation

Minimum Pay: $47,500

Maximum Pay: $68,500
