B Pressure Welder w/Rig at PCL Energy Inc.

PCL Energy is seeking Journeyperson B Pressure Rig Welders for a 10 day outage at a major project in Coquitlam, BC.

August 4, 2026 until August 14, 2026. Start on days and move to nights on August 10.

Work Conditions & Remuneration

• Base wage: $122.60/hr
• 10.4% vacation/stat
• 4% RSP contribution + 2% pension
• LOA: $150 per day worked
• Daily and rotational travel allowances available for those who qualify
• Schedule: August 4-10 on days, move to nights August 10-14
• 12 hour shifts
• Must successfully pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
• Must have reliable transportation

As a B Pressure Rig Welder for our PCL Energy Edmonton District , you will contribute to our team by:

• Holding a valid Journeyperson Welder certificate with B-Pressure ticket (ABSA/TSBC/TSASK)
• Successfully completing weld qualifying tests - F3-F4 SMAW, F6-F5 GTAW/SMAW, F6 GTAW (MAX)
• Demonstrating strong experience in carbon, stainless, and duplex steel welding
• Having excellent communication skills
• Being able to work in a group or alone
• Being able to take direction
• Being safety conscious and adhering to all PCL safety processes and policies
• Meeting qualification and training requirements based on specific work conditions
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions
