NOW HIRING - ROTATING EQUIPMENT QAQC Inspector

Actalent's general contractor client is seeking a Mechanical/Rotating Equipment Inspector to support inspection, alignment verification, turnover, and completion activities on a major mining project in Saskatchewan. This individual will inspect and verify rotating and mechanical equipment installations, ensuring equipment meets design requirements, manufacturer specifications, and project quality standards prior to commissioning.

The successful candidate will ideally come from a Journeyperson Millwright background and possess hands-on experience with rotating equipment, alignment, precision measurement, and industrial facility construction.

Must Have

• Journeyperson or Red Seal Millwright certification (or equivalent experience)
• 7–10+ years of experience with rotating or mechanical equipment
• Experience with laser alignment and precision measurement tools
• Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, blowers, fans, agitators, mixers, or similar equipment
• Heavy industrial, mining, potash, or processing facility experience
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and inspection documentation
• Experience following ITPs, checklists, and quality inspection processes

Nice To Have

• Previous QA/QC inspection experience
• Mining or potash facility experience
• Experience witnessing grout installations
• Experience performing final walkdowns and client turnover activities
• Fall Arrest certification

• Strong attention to detail
• Hands-on troubleshooting mindset
• Ability to identify potential deficiencies
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working with field teams and client representatives

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role is 100% on site, 14/7 rotation, 11 hour days.

Camp and travel are provided from BC, AB, SK or MB.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
