Crating Staff at Wausau Supply Co

ChamClad- The Crating Staff is a skilled position, normally wood carpentry-skills to physically assemble or produce pallets for finished products and shipment requirements. Their main duties include assembly of pallets' bases and closing pallets of inspected packed and ready-to-ship products.

Job Responsibilities

• Building pallets based on weekly orders for shipment.
• Pallet closing for finished and inspected stacked products for shipment.
• Labelling pallets and packaged products with necessary documentation before handling out for shipment.
• Organizing, moving, and storing inventory in its specified area in the warehouse.
• Ensuring pallet orders are completed within the deadlines.
• Maintaining tools and equipment and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work environment and taking part in regular cleaning and maintenance.
• Assisting materials preparation for manufacturing including but not limited to Cutting special lengths and Aluminum Material cleaning.
• Inventory and Packaging Support.

Other duties

• Forklift Operations
• Column Saw Operations
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on a repetitive basis throughout the workday.

Pelleting area, including Table Saw Areas, and Stock (Inventory) Racks.
