Breka Bakery Cafe is hiring: Cake Decorator/Baker at Breka Bakery and Cafe Inc.

Breka Bakery & Café is a local family business born in 2006. Regularly voted among Vancouver’s best bakeries and cafes, it offers high-quality and reasonably priced coffee, bread, donuts, pastries, sandwiches, cakes, cookies and more – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year – in its 8 locations.

WHAT A DAY WOULD LOOK LIKE

• Slicing and decorating various cakes.
• Filling up the pastry showcase.
• Finishing various baked items such as glazing, piping etc..
• Maintaining a clean and organized working station.
• Prep and organize item products.

• Punctuality and flexibility in work hours and shift coverage
• Reliable attendance for all scheduled shifts
• Availability for weekend shifts
• Minimum 4 shifts required per week for Full-Time
• Minimum 2 shifts required per week for Part-Time
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
• Shifts may vary; please specify what time you are available to work

REQUIREMENTS

• Hardworking & energetic
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Punctual & able to work flexible shifts or cover when needed
• Friendly & customer service oriented
• Able to work well as a part of a team
• Self-motivated and can work well unsupervised
• Have 1+ years of experience in a cafe or bakery setting. This one isn't a requirement but definitely a bonus!
