The salary for this position is $58,500 annually ($37.50/hour based on 30 hours per week)” and to remove the second sentence. If you need to keep the qualifying language for internal purposes I think it should be okay, but Service Canada may have questions to confirm that the salary level is firm and therefore complies with LMIA requirements. As the Food Services Manager, you are responsible for overseeing food service operations, managing staff, controlling costs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Develop and manage budgets for food, ingredients, beverages, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products.
  • Monitor revenues and labour costs to support operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily food service operations.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule team members.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Organize and maintain inventory while ensuring adequate supply levels.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and operational supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Address customer concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Balance cash, prepare reports, and maintain operational records.
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu pricing in accordance with budget objectives.

  • College/CEGEP diploma in Hospitality Administration, Food Services, Nutrition, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to less than 3 years of experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
  • Experience managing budgets, labour costs, inventory, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and physically demanding environment.
  • Highly organized, dependable, flexible, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
