Salary Range: $36,300- $68,100

Purpose

The Cycle Counter plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and minimizing shrinkage within the distribution center. This position is responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and accurate cycle counts of inventory, including all pick and reserve slots.

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including out-of-balance items, discrepancies, and product condition issues.

  • Research root causes of inventory variances, such as receiving errors, put-away errors, and product damage.

  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential issues.

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions.

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of inventory control procedures and best practices.

  • Perform quality checks on date-sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items.

  • Monitor FIFO rotation and address any issues.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and identify areas for improvement.

  • Generate reports on inventory performance and discrepancies.

  • Process inventory transfers and other inventory adjustments as required.

  • Support the product recall process.

  • Data Analysis: Basic data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret data and identify trends.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
