Position Summary
Hamilton Sports Group is looking for an organized, curious and commercially minded coordinator who can connect ticketing execution with customer insight and campaign planning.
This is not a narrow back-office ticketing role. You will help operate the systems behind our ticket products while working across teams to make offers more relevant, campaigns more coordinated and customer opportunities easier to act on. The right person enjoys detail, asks smart questions and cares about what happens after a report is produced.
What Success Looks Like
The right offer reaches the right audience, the ticketing setup is accurate, internal teams know what is happening, partner commitments are fulfilled and the organization learns from the result.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ticket builds, offer setup, allocations, reporting, account maintenance and game-day readiness within Ticketmaster/Archtics.
- Prepare accurate customer lists, sales pass-offs, game reports and operational audits.
- Analyze approved customer data to identify audience segments, repeat purchasing patterns, upgrade opportunities and lapsed buyers.
- Help maintain a shared calendar for ticket offers, campaigns, theme nights, community initiatives and partner activations.
- Coordinate campaign details across Ticketing and Marketing, including audience, inventory, pricing, deadlines, links and measurement requirements.
- Track partner ticket entitlements, claims, distributions and outstanding service actions.
- Create clear post-campaign reporting covering response, purchases, revenue, distribution, attendance and next steps.
- Document recurring processes and help replace last-minute workarounds with repeatable workflows.
- Support box-office and event-day responsibilities as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sports, live events, ticketing, hospitality or another customer-driven environment.
- Exposure to Ticketmaster, Archtics, Salesforce or another CRM/ticketing platform.
- Experience preparing audience segments, campaign reports or customer insights.
- Understanding of ticket inventory, event operations, partnership servicing or digital marketing workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong organization, follow-through and attention to detail.
- Commercial curiosity: you want to understand who bought, why they bought and what should happen next.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, customer lists, reporting and multiple systems.
- The ability to communicate clearly across departments and turn incomplete information into an organized next step.
- Sound judgment when priorities compete and deadlines move.
- A service mindset without waiting to be told every detail.
- The humility to learn technical systems and the confidence to question inefficient processes.
- Post-secondary education in sport management, business, marketing, analytics or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
How You Will Work
- You will report to the Senior Manager, Ticket Operations and work closely with ticketing leadership and HSG’s Marketing, Partnerships, Community and Data/Analytics teams. You will be expected to manage details without losing sight of the customer and commercial outcome.
You May Be a Strong Fit If
- You notice the gap between departments and instinctively try to connect it.
- You can move between customer data, operational detail and human communication.
- You do not consider a spreadsheet finished until someone can act on it.
- You care about accuracy, but you also understand urgency.
- You are comfortable owning mistakes, correcting them and improving the process.
- You want meaningful responsibility early in your career and are ready to earn trust.
What This Role Offers
- Hands-on experience inside a multi-property professional sports organization.
- Direct exposure to ticketing strategy, operations, marketing, partnerships, customer data and live-event execution.
- Technical development in ticketing and CRM platforms.
- The opportunity to help build a more connected commercial operating system—not simply inherit a list of tasks.
Application Process
- Candidates should submit a résumé and a short response to the following question: A fan has purchased multiple single-game offers but has never become a member. What information would you review, and how would you turn it into a practical next action for Ticketing and Marketing?
Selection Exercise
- Short-listed candidates may be given a simple scenario involving a ticket offer, customer list and cross-functional deadline. The exercise will assess organization, judgment, communication and commercial thinking—not advanced technical expertise.
Equal Opportunity
- Hamilton Sports Group is committed to creating an inclusive workplace. We welcome applications from qualified candidates of all backgrounds and will provide accommodation throughout the recruitment process in accordance with applicable requirements.
