Business Development Representative at PulseRise Technologies
This is the company's first Business Development Representative hire, brought on to build the sales pipeline from the ground up. It's a fully remote role based in Canada, working closely with the head of sales, who is based in Vancouver. The BDR will own the outbound motion end to end — setting up sequences, running cold calls, and sourcing leads that convert into real pipeline for the sales team. Strong performance here is a direct path to promotion into an Account Executive seat.

About The Company
A pre-seed, early-stage technology company with a head of sales and a growing go-to-market team operating out of Canada. The company has an employer of record in Canada and is building its sales pipeline through a direct outbound motion, targeting business customers across North America.
What You'll Own

- Set up and manage outbound systems and tooling to support scalable lead sourcing
- Source and qualify leads that feed directly into the sales team's pipeline
- Attend and represent the company at conferences and industry events, traveling approximately five to ten times per year
- Collaborate closely with the head of sales to refine targeting, messaging, and outbound strategy
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of outbound sales or BDR experience, with direct hands-on experience running cold outreach (cold calls, cold email, sequences)
- Track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a prior sales role
- Based in Canada, ideally Vancouver or the West Coast; other Canadian cities considered

- Willingness to work the stated schedule, including occasional weekend work based on workload
Nice to have
- Degree from a recognized Canadian university
- Experience at a reputable Canadian tech startup or D2C brand with a strong outbound motion
- Demonstrated ability to set up outbound systems and lead-sourcing workflows independently
- Exceptional new graduates with a strong competitive or athletic background who can demonstrate hustle and hunger
