Bilingual Security Guard Position, Fredericton, NB

Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to hire bilingual, mature and responsible team members in Fredericton, NB to work in government buildings.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

Rate of Pay: $26.29 per hour

The Role: The Security Guard is responsible for enforcing established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information on the worksite.

We are seeking candidates with

• Physical fitness to perform interior of the property, may also require standing or sitting for extended periods of time and the ability to respond to emergency situations
• Bilingual (French/English)
• Professional/strong communication and dispute resolution skills
• A positive, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks
• Customer service experience with a clean, neat, uniform appearance
• Use of Force Training

The successful candidate must be able to

• Maintain high levels of confidentiality with a positive attitude
• Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations
• Respond and help in emergency situations
• Able to acquire and maintain Federal Level 2 Security Clearance
• Complete all online and in-person training requirements
