Responsibilities
- Buy paint, brushes, and other supplies
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching holes
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to property interiors and exteriors using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Match and mix paint colors to achieve desired shades and hues
- Ensure work areas are covered and protected to prevent damage during painting
- Conduct post-painting clean-up and organization of materials and tools
- Collaborate with clients or the management team to understand specific painting requirements
- Manage painting supplies inventory and order materials as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling painting equipment and materials
- Provide timely completion of painting projects while maintaining high-quality standards
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in professional painting for residential or commercial spaces
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle capable of transporting painting supplies
- Skilled in various painting techniques and familiar with different types of paint and finishes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Ability to work independently or in a team and manage painting projects efficiently
- Familiarity with safety practices related to painting and working at heights
- Must own an iPhone for job-related communications
- Physical stamina and dexterity for handling extensive painting tasks
