AGCO’s North America commercial team has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to deliver extraordinary results across one of the largest markets in North America. The Fendt and Massey Ferguson brands are known for industry leading solutions that help farmers succeed by delivering high‑quality equipment, technology, and exceptional services that maximize productivity and efficiency.
The Account Manager is responsible for both short‑term operational initiatives and long-term strategic business planning for assigned dealers within their territory. This role owns the overall dealer relationship, with a primary focus on the whole goods of business. Unresolved dealer or customer issues from any AGCO functional area are escalated to the Account Manager for resolution.
In addition, the Account Manager leads and coordinates the extended field team, aligning strategies, priorities, and activities for all field facing roles that support the dealer. The role also has a key stake in dealer development and overall dealer performance within the assigned geography.
Success in this role requires balancing daily operational execution with long-term strategic planning to drive sustainable dealer growth and market share expansion.
Preferred: Agricultural equipment, agribusiness, or dealer channel experience.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the assigned territory.
Act as the quarterback of the AGCO dealer support team by aligning Product Specialists, Aftersales, Finance, Marketing, Distribution Development, and other functional partners around common dealer objectives.
Your Impact
Lead dealer sales funnel execution across assigned accounts by driving prospect identification, customer engagement strategies, opportunity management, forecast accuracy, and retail conversion performance.
Achieve key commercial outcomes including sales growth, profitable mix, contribution margin, and improved Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with dealer partners and customers, acting as the primary commercial interface for the territory. Help manage distribution development activities including performance management, capability assessment, joint business planning, and dealer expansion.
Provide leadership to assigned Product Specialists, including goal setting, prioritization, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure effective product support and sales enablement. Coordinate cross functional collaboration with marketing, distribution development, finance, and aftersales teams to deliver enhance customer value.
Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and customer insights to inform account strategies and sales execution.
Drive annual dealer business planning processes, including market share objectives, retail growth strategies, inventory management, sales funnel development, and profitability improvement initiatives.

Your Experience and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Minimum of five (5) years of commercial experience within the agriculture, agribusiness, or industrial goods sector.
At least two (2) years of sales experience, with demonstrated success in customer engagement and business development.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage customer interactions, sales activities, and reporting.
