Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our team. In this role, you will transform conceptual landscape designs into accurate, buildable construction drawings and high-quality 3D renderings for residential landscape projects. You will conduct site visits, verify field conditions, and collaborate with project teams to ensure designs are practical, technically sound, and ready for construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert approved landscape concepts into detailed 2D construction drawings.
• Create high-quality 3D renderings for client presentations.
• Conduct site visits to collect measurements, elevations, and site photographs.
• Develop grading, drainage, retaining wall, and layout plans that are accurate and buildable.
• Identify and resolve design or constructability issues before construction begins.
• Recommend design improvements where appropriate.
• Maintain organized drawing packages, revisions, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with designers, estimators, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape design, architectural drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in a 2D drafting software such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Dynascape, or similar.
• Experience with 3D visualization software such as SketchUp, Rhino, Structure Studios, or similar.
• Ability to interpret 2D plans and create accurate 3D models, including grading and residential structures.
• Strong understanding of landscape construction principles, grading, drainage, retaining walls, and dimensional accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites within the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
