Hatfield is seeking a Cloud Information Systems Technician to join our Information Services and Technology (IST) team. The successful candidate will support the operations and management of a wide variety of cloud-based information systems. These systems include both commercial and in-house applications hosted on Azure, running on Kubernetes, Linux and Windows virtual machines, and other Azure services.
Education and Experience
- Formal education in Computer Systems Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is preferred, but not required.
- 1 to 3 years of experience is preferred.
- Experience with Linux and Windows servers.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud systems (AWS or GCP).
- Experience with various programming languages including Python, Go, PowerShell, and bash.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Other Assets/Skills
- Strong operational procedure driven work ethic.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-code, particularly bicep scripts.
- Experience with DevOps tooling, particularly with ArgoCD.
- Experience developing or supporting platforms operating on Kubernetes.
