Position Summary

Our firm specializes in Litigation, Personal Injury, Business Law and Wills and Estates. We're looking for someone with strong administrative and organizational abilities to join our team. This role demands the ability to juggle tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a busy work environment. A collaborative attitude and the ability to take direction are key.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day work may include, but won't be limited to:

  • Managing and diarizing various tasks on personal injury matters
  • Drafting legal documents and various correspondence
  • Supporting lawyers with file handling and organization
  • Preparing and organizing records for litigation
  • Communicating with legal staff, clients, and internal team members
  • Opening and closing files
  • Keeping track of important court dates and deadlines
  • Filing documents with the Court and coordinating with court staff
  • Assisting with billing and account follow-ups
  • Managing emails and maintaining organized digital files
  • Keeping client contact lists up to date
  • Helping with scheduling for lawyers

What We're Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience in a law firm (litigation/personal injury- based)
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities and a knack for prioritizing tasks
  • Familiarity with litigation and personal injury procedures;
  • A sharp eye for detail and strong proofreading skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, MS Teams, Netdocs and Unity Accounting.
  • Proficiency in another language is an asset.
