Our multidisciplinary clinic, situated in the Sunalta area of SW Calgary, has numerous private rooms, a well-equipped gym area, and a spacious open rehabilitation space. Here, we provide collaborative care through a dedicated team of Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, and Massage Therapists, ensuring comprehensive and integrated healthcare services.

Exceptional patient service, collaborative care and continued growth and improvement are highly valued at Momentum Health. We are presently seeking a Full-Time enthusiastic Kinesiologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate must be able to commit to at least a one-year term.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Required Hours: Monday 10:30am-6:00pm, Tuesday 8:00am-3:00pm, Wednesday/Thursday 12pm-8pm, and Friday 8:00am to 3:00pm. Must be flexible with schedule.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Compensation: $18-$20 per hour

Primary Responsibilities

• Prescription, application, supervision and education of patient’s Therapeutic Exercise Programs including: AROM, PROM, stretching, proprioception, coordination, balance and strengthening
• Assist Physiotherapy assessments and re-evaluations
• Learn and administer several hands-on treatment techniques including basic trigger point release, MRT, Instrumented Soft Tissue Release, Friction massage and hold relax stretching
• Application and removal of modalities including heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, micro-current and Muscle Stimulation
• Assisting with clinic up-keep such as laundry, cleaning patient beds, filling ultrasound gel, and cleaning machines and tools
• Greet patients and ensure they have a comfortable experience in the clinic
• A wonderful opportunity to network with other professionals in the field such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, and registered massage therapists

The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications

Degree in Kinesiology

Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Previous volunteer or work experience in a Physiotherapy or Multidisciplinary clinic an asset
