Litigation Lawyer at Synectics Inc.

We are seeking a Litigation Lawyer to join our growing litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys managing diverse civil and commercial litigation matters, developing effective legal strategies, advocating for clients through all stages of litigation, and working collaboratively within a supportive, client-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in a variety of civil, commercial, and general litigation matters.
• Manage litigation files from initial assessment through resolution.
• Prepare and review pleadings, motions, affidavits, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Manage discoveries, document production, examinations, and pre-trial processes.
• Represent clients in court, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide practical legal advice and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with lawyers and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree.
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• Minimum 3 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong advocacy, legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.
• Ability to independently manage multiple files and meet competing deadlines.
