(Assistant) Merchandiser(Contractor)-Givenchy at GIVENCHY

Responsibilities

• Support Merchandising Manager and become an integral part of the Buying and Product Assortment plan. With understanding of past season’s performance, current market trends to anticipate future product needs
• Act as a creative thinker and strategic analyst while maintaining accuracy and timely schedule of purchase orders, reports, ad-hoc analysis, and Merchandising action plans
• Be hands-on in communicating with Retail stores to better understand customers’ reactions to products and proactively understand each geographic market to devise better geo-merchandising plans
• Partner with logistics to monitor shipments, prepare related documents, to ensure timely delivery of products to stores
• Maintain ownership of stock consolidation and stock transfers to ensure product efficiency
• Prepare creative, inspiring, and fruitful seasonal product trainings
• Maintain awareness and sensitivity to the competitive environment, including but not limited to key competitor’s product offering, price, performance, marketing exposure
• Provide support on promotional plans, after-sale service and pricing change per season

Requirements

• More than 3-year experience
• Luxury or Fashion Retail Industry
• Passion about Fashion
• Not afraid to voice out and ask questions, open-minded and always up to new learnings, adaptable, able to follow thru on tasks
• Acute business sense, with analytical mindset, sensitive to figures
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team player
• High proficiency in Excel, Power Point. Power BI is a plus.
• Proficient level of oral & written English and Chinese. French is a plus.
