Senior Product Marketing Manager at Helcim
What We’re Building
Helcim is building the payments infrastructure that small and medium-sized businesses deserve — transparent pricing, powerful tools, and an experience that puts merchants first. Our Product Marketing team sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Customer Success, and we're looking for a sharp, curious, and collaborative PMM to help us grow.
This role isn't just about launches. It's about making sure the right products reach the right customers in the right way — and that adoption and retention actually follows.
As Helcim scales, aligning how Product, PMM, and Go-to-Market teams work together is one of our biggest opportunities. Right now, we're building a more predictable and collaborative operating model — one where PMM is embedded from ideation through post-launch optimization, not just brought in at the finish line.
This role is central to that transformation. You'll act as the quarterback between Product and GTM teams, translating complex product builds into compelling merchant value and ensuring our releases drive measurable adoption and growth in merchant GPV. You'll help us go from reactive launch support to proactive, market-informed product strategy.
Are You Our Next Builder?
You're a bilingual translator — equally fluent in product thinking and customer storytelling. You get excited about understanding why customers behave the way they do, and you know how to turn that understanding into messaging that actually moves people.
- You're deeply curious about markets, customers, and competitive dynamics — and you bring structured thinking to turn those insights into action.
- You're a natural collaborator who builds trust with Product, Sales, and Success teams without needing formal authority.
- You write clearly and concisely, and you can distill complex features into language that resonates with merchants.
- You care about outcomes, not just outputs — you measure your work by adoption and retention, not just launch checklists.
- You're comfortable with ambiguity and can operate in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift.
What You Bring
- 8 + years of experience in the product marketing world, ideally in B2B Tech or SaaS.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills across a range of formats and audiences.
- Comfort with AI tools, automation, and content operations platforms.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment is a strong asset.
Not checking every box? Please apply anyway! We know that candidates have different experiences that may make them a great fit for this position and for Helcim. We believe that diversity and having an inclusive culture is not only the right thing, but key to our long-term success. Diversity brings more experience, view-points, knowledge and insight about our future. We also want to provide an accessible interview process, so if there’s any accommodations that would make your experience more comfortable, please let us know.
The Role: What You’ll Own
Go-to-Market Strategy & Launches
- Own the end-to-end GTM strategy for product releases across tier categories.
- Define positioning, messaging, and narrative frameworks that clearly articulate merchant value.
- Coordinate and produce launch assets including one-pagers, customer emails, blog posts, sales decks, demo scripts, and internal training sessions based on release tier.
- Lock in messaging alignment with GTM and PM leadership before entering the final asset-creation phase of major releases.
Product Partnership
- Join product teams at the Concept/Ideation phase for Tier 1 and Tier 2 initiatives — well before PRDs are finalized.
- Participate in monthly PM–PMM alignment meetings to review the 3–6 month roadmap and surface GTM opportunities.
- Co-define a single, clear KPI with each PM for every product release so all teams are driving toward the same definition of success.
- Use tiering frameworks and intake processes to ruthlessly prioritize high-impact work.
Adoption & Retention
- Drive post-launch adoption through in-product education, Pendo walkthroughs, lifecycle marketing, and onboarding flows.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure enablement is in place before launch day — not after.
- Host cross-functional retros 30–60 days post-launch with Product, Sales, Growth, and Support to audit performance data and optimize for adoption goals.
Market Intelligence & Voice of Customer
- Conduct quarterly merchant interview sprints to capture fresh, actionable insights that feed directly back into the product roadmap.
- Analyze closed-lost data and support tickets, consulting with Sales and Success to surface new market opportunities.
- Contribute to GTM Digests and market research that help Product prioritize the right workflow improvements and integrations.
