• The Grocery Clerk is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The Clerk will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs, and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Here’s Where You’ll Have An Impact

• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives Order, receive, and merchandise stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures as required
• Rotate stock as appropriate
• Cleaning and facing the store nightly
• Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance, keeping work area clean and presentable as per

Company Requirements

• Inventory counts when trained
• Checking on invoices (Comparing product worked vs the invoices), in an attempt to reduce shrinkage
• Participate in the training of junior staff
• Keep work areas and uniform clean and well-maintained.
• Use equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
• Comply with established food safety and hygiene standards.
• Perform any other related duties.

What You Bring To The Table

• A high school diploma is a valuable asset.
• You have at least six months of experience as a cashier.
• You are proficient in operating the cash register system.
• You are customer service-oriented.
• You foster communication and team spirit.
• You are available to work various shifts overnight.
• You stand out for your interpersonal skills, energy and ability to work under pressure.
