We’re seeking a Senior Planning & Scheduling Professional to join our team supporting complex engineering, construction, and public-sector programs. In this senior role, you will provide leadership in planning, scheduling, forecasting, and schedule governance—while serving as a trusted advisor to project management, clients, and cross-discipline teams.

You will play a critical role in developing integrated schedules, analyzing performance, identifying risks, and driving the insights that keep major programs on track. Your Impact

As a senior member of the project controls team, you will

  • Lead development, maintenance, and optimization of CPM schedules across all project phases
  • Facilitate and translate Interactive Planning Sessions (IPS/IAP) into fully developed CPM schedules
  • Create, monitor, analyze, forecast, and report on project and program schedules
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for large, multi-project programs
  • Perform critical path, logic, milestone, and trend analysis; recommend schedule improvements and work-arounds
  • Integrate cost and schedule data, support earned value management, and collaborate on forecasts and cashflows
  • Support change control processes, including Time Impact Analysis, re-baselining, and schedule impact assessments
  • Identify schedule risks, quantify impacts, and support mitigation planning
  • Prepare clear, compelling schedule reports, dashboards, and presentations for all levels of management
  • Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff and help strengthen project controls capabilities across the team
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, subcontractors, and internal disciplines
  • Ensure compliance with project controls standards, contract requirements, and best practices

Here's what you'll need

  • 10+ years of planning and scheduling experience on engineering, construction, or large public-sector programs
  • Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 (hands-on)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, including live updates and IAP facilitation
  • Strong understanding of building construction methods, timelines, and engineering/construction workflows
  • Experience with EVM, schedule-cost integration, and progress measurement
  • Ability to develop WBS structures for complex projects
  • Experience with resource- and/or cost-loaded schedules
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX, filtering, data manipulation, summarization)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • Experience with building component replacement (elevators, boilers, etc.) or residential/public-sector facilities
  • Ability to perform “what-if” schedule scenarios and graphical schedule storytelling
  • Claims analysis, contract time extension, and re-baseline experience
  • Experience supporting project oversight, business development, or program-level governance
  • Familiarity with dashboard/reporting platforms (Power BI, e-Builder/Trimble Unity, etc.)

140,000.00

Posted Salary Range Upper

180,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $180,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across Ontario, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
