The Systems Security Access Specialist is a subject matter expert for all security account administration tasks linked to defining users, granting access and revoking privileges of both internal and external users of computing resources and applications. The incumbent provides security access administration and also monitors and distributes the security administration team workload, acts as primary contact on security issues and audits, works closely with business areas on security provisioning for new applications/projects, performs work audits, and identifies process improvements.

How You Will Create Impact

  • Fulfill Identity Access requests correctly and within SLA, with high quality and attention to detail
  • Provides primary operational support of the IAM infrastructure which includes providing internal and external customer support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution within defined SLA.
  • Provision and or remove access to data, systems, and applications in a global environment
  • Manage the lifecycle of all Cooperators System Users, Service Accounts and Privileged Accounts from provisioning to deletion
  • Respond to second level (i.e., Tier 2) problem tickets that have been escalated.
  • Analyze incident and problem reports to identify trends and proactively identify issues that could ultimately result in support problems and recommend systems modifications to reduce users' problems.
  • Participate in and/or lead sub-components of various projects of medium to large complexity with deliverables that require technical resources.
  • Participation in support model, projects, tasks, and support initiatives that are assigned

To Join Our Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of IAM Operations experience in a mid to large organization
  • Knowledge of security requirements necessary to satisfy internal and external audits within a complex IT environment.
  • Proficiency in French is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority francophone clients, groups, teams. The essential non-English duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

Expected salary/hourly range $60,574 - $100,956

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
