Salary: $50,000 - $58,000 Annually (Paid Twice Per Month)

Purpose And Scope Of Position

Dumas seeks a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support warehouse and inventory operations. The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and tracking materials, parts, equipment and supplies while maintaining accurate inventory records.

The successful candidate will work closely with operations personnel, maintenance teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure materials are handled safely and made available when required. This role is well suited to someone who is organized, safety-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment where accuracy, teamwork and dependable service are essential.

Qualifications And Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Several years of warehousing or related experience.
  • Good knowledge of mining materials, equipment and maintenance parts.
  • Familiarity with warehouse and inventory-control procedures.
  • Experience receiving, storing, issuing and tracking materials and supplies.
  • Experience operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel spreadsheets and data entry.
  • Experience using Sage ERP and Guide TI would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS and legislation governing the storage and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations and Inventory Control

  • Demonstrate the core values, vision and Code of Conduct of Dumas Mining.
  • Perform the day-to-day activities required for the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse.
  • Receive, store and issue mine and mill materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Enter receiving information into the Sage ERP system to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Participate in annual and cyclical inventory counts.
  • Identify and provide input regarding surplus or obsolete materials.
  • Pick internal orders and prepare materials for movement throughout the site.
  • Review orders to confirm that the correct materials and quantities have been received.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage and verify that they meet purchase order and contract specifications.
  • Expedite priority orders and track shipments when required.

Records and Documentation

  • Create, organize, maintain and update a complete inventory of warehouse contents using spreadsheets and inventory-management systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, boxes and files.
  • Update warehouse inventory records following each transaction.
  • Ensure receiving, issuing and inventory information is entered accurately and promptly.

Safety and Facility Maintenance

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Comply with WHMIS requirements and all applicable legislation concerning the storage and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the warehouse facility to meet safety requirements.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse and storage areas to prevent hazards and support efficient operations.
  • Report damaged, defective or non-compliant materials and assist with corrective action as required.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective working relationships with site personnel, contractors and suppliers.
  • Support operational teams by responding to requests for materials and priority orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
