Position Summary

This is a dual-role position that combines the responsibilities of a Medical Office Assistant with the leadership responsibilities of a Team Lead. The successful candidate will carry a part-time physician assignment, providing full Medical Office Assistant support while also overseeing daily clinic operations, supporting staff, and assisting management with operational initiatives. The ability to effectively balance patient care responsibilities with leadership duties is essential.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, supporting a collaborative team, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy medical clinic. The successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and committed to meeting the changing needs of the clinic, our physicians, staff, and patients.

What you will be doing: (Ple ase include the role responsibilities here)

  • Carry all responsibilities and duties of a Medical Office Assistant while supporting a designated part-time physician.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to the Medical Office Assistant team.
  • Coordinate physician and staff schedules to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Monitor clinic workflow, patient flow, and operational priorities throughout the day.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting patients, physicians, and team members.
  • Participate in leadership and operational meetings, contributing ideas and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, mentoring, and coaching new and existing staff.
  • Maintain clinic and medical supplies.
  • Assist with clinic marketing initiatives, community outreach, and special projects.
  • Ensure clinic policies, procedures, and quality standards are consistently followed.
  • Support management with administrative projects, reporting, and operational initiatives as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to changing clinic priorities and operational needs.

You Have

  • Previous experience working in a medical clinic is required.
  • Proficiency with QHR’s Accuro system is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities or previous supervisory or Team Lead experience is considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care.
  • Flexible and willing to support the operational needs of the clinic as priorities evolve.
