Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounts receivable functions within our organization. This role is responsible for processing customer payments, reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate customer records, and assisting with the resolution of account discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Collections
- Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions.
- Proactively monitor customer accounts and aging reports to identify overdue balances and required follow-up.
- Conduct regular collection follow-ups by phone and email to obtain payment of outstanding invoices.
- Apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts and invoices and investigate unapplied or unidentified cash.
- Process weekly/monthly billing requirements.
- Investigate invoice discrepancies, deductions, short payments, pricing issues, credits, and other account-related matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma required.
- Post-secondary education or certification in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable or accounting-related role.
- Fluency in both English and French is considered a strong asset and will be highly considered in the selection process.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and reconcile data.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Remuneration and Benefits: Salary is approximately $45,000 annually, depending upon qualifications. After a probationary period, the benefits included are: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance, Group RRSP. Also paid Vacation offered in the first year of employment.
Start date is October 5 or October 13, 2026
