Landscape Labourer / Driver - $25/hr + Year-Round Pay at ALEH Writing Services (AWS)

This is more than a seasonal landscaping position. You’ll finish out the landscaping season with us, move into fall cleanups and then transition directly into our winter snow-removal operations. One of the biggest advantages of this position is year-round income. During the winter, you work when snow events require it, while maintaining consistent pay between snowfalls. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of a crew, keep jobs moving and work alongside the team. You should be comfortable driving trucks and trailers, operating equipment and making good decisions without needing constant direction. What You’ll Do

• Work alongside a small landscaping and snow-removal crew
• Drive company trucks and tow equipment trailers
• Safely load, secure and transport equipment
• Complete commercial landscape and property maintenance
• Perform fall cleanups and seasonal maintenance
• Complete snow and ice removal during winter weather events
• Keep crews organized and jobs moving efficiently
• Ensure properties are completed to a high standard
• Communicate with management about properties, crews and equipment
• Identify what needs to be done and take initiative to get it done
• Pitch in wherever needed to help the team finish the job What We’re Looking For
• Valid driver’s licence required
• Strong truck and trailer experience required
• Confident backing, parking and maneuvering equipment trailers
• Landscaping, property maintenance or snow-removal experience preferred
• Comfortable operating landscaping and snow-removal equipment
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Self-motivated, proactive and willing to jump in without waiting to be asked
• Physically able to perform the hands-on requirements of landscaping and snow removal, including lifting, carrying, bending, walking, shovelling and working on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Willing to work alongside the crew rather than simply supervise For snow events, you must be available for early mornings, evenings, overnight work and weekends when required. The Person We Want
