Reports To: Shipping & Receiving Team Lead

Position Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Contract

Hourly Rate: $17.95 - $22.00 per hour

Location: Aurora, Ontario

Sinclair is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our Supply Chain team on a full-time, 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately packing products, preparing shipments, and ensuring orders meet quality and customer requirements. This role plays an important part in supporting efficient warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment.

What You’ll Do

• Packing materials and products manually for distribution.
• Transporting or moving products (approx. 40-50 lbs) to workstation for packing in a safe and secure manner.
• Performing basic quality control checks, including evaluating product labeling for accuracy and product appearance prior to packing.
• Folding, stapling and tapping boxes as required.
• Applying labels and stacking boxes on pallets according to procedures provided.
• Accurately recording order data on various computer programs.
• Demonstrating proficiency in packing all components and sub-components for all products.
• Using tools properly, including carton stapler, tape dispenser, pallet jack and general tools.
• Utilizing proper techniques for lifting/packing/handling heavy objects, reaching, pushing/pulling and cutting.
• Monitoring inventory levels of associated packing materials.
• Ensuring products are properly packed in a neat, safe and organized work area.
• Consistently meeting minimum required production, accuracy or quality standards for work performed.
• Complying with company Health, Safety, and Personal Protective Equipment policies.

• Assisting with any other aspect of the shipping team's duties as required.
