Cochrane Toyota is looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing Service Department.
Our Service Advisors are responsible for owning the customer experience from check in to vehicle delivery, building long-term relationships, identifying service needs, presenting recommendations professionally, and working closely with our technicians and production team to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the shop.
We are looking for someone who is organized, driven, comfortable working toward measurable goals, and understands that great customer service and strong sales performance go hand in hand.

What You’ll Bring
- Previous automotive Service Advisor experience is strongly preferred
- Automotive dealership experience is an asset
- Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills
- A proven ability to sell products or services professionally
- Confidence presenting recommendations and asking for the business
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- The ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders simultaneously
- Strong follow-up habits and attention to detail
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Ability to work effectively with technicians, Parts personnel, and management
- Experience using dealership management systems and digital inspection platforms is an asset
- PBS and Xtime experience are considered assets
- Toyota experience is considered an asset
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A valid Class 5 driver's license
What You’ll Be Doing
Own the Customer Experience
- Greet customers professionally and build trust from the moment they arrive
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and document them accurately on the repair order
- Review vehicle history and maintenance requirements
- Clearly explain recommended maintenance and repairs
- Obtain proper customer authorization before work is completed
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
- Ensure promised completion times and expectations are communicated accurately
- Review completed work and invoices with customers at vehicle delivery
- Build long-term customer relationships and encourage future service retention
Sell Service Professionally
- Present technician recommendations clearly and confidently
- Explain the value and importance of maintenance and repairs
- Handle customer questions and objections professionally
- Follow up on declined work and outstanding estimates
- Work toward department sales and closing-percentage expectations
- Identify opportunities to improve customer retention and future service business
- Take ownership of estimates from presentation through customer decision
