Senior Cable Technician to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who enjoys hands-on technical work, mentoring others, and delivering exceptional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, implement, troubleshoot, and integrate structured cabling systems and premise security solutions for commercial clients.
  • Collaborate with project teams to design and deploy customized solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing hands-on guidance and support in structured cabling, CCTV, intrusion alarms, access control, and telecommunications technologies.
  • Deliver customer training and technical support both remotely and on-site.
  • Lead job site activities when required, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
  • Maintain positive and professional communication with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members.
  • Travel to customer locations throughout the region as required.
  • Participate in occasional evening, overnight, and weekend work based on project requirements.
  • Complete project documentation and maintain accurate service records.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and training requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience installing and supporting structured cabling systems and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm systems, and other security technologies is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift equipment and work in physically demanding environments, including ladders and elevated work areas.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety practices, and best installation techniques.
