Lumper - Container Unloading (Greater Toronto Area, ON) at Express Lumpers

FLAT-RATE CONTAINER UNLOADERS / LUMPERS

Express Lumper Solutions is hiring reliable and physically capable lumpers to support ongoing container-unloading assignments at client warehouses across the Greater Toronto Area. These are floating crew assignments - you may be scheduled at different sites within the region from week to week, so reliable transportation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manually unload floor-loaded containers and trailers
• Sort products by SKU or client instructions
• Palletize and stack products safely and accurately
• Shrink-wrap completed pallets when required
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Report damaged or open products immediately
• Follow all site safety procedures and supervisor instructions

Compensation

• Flat pay per completed container
• The rate and assignment details will be confirmed before each shift
• Additional approved work or waiting time will be communicated separately
• Potential for regular assignments based on performance, attendance and client volume

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to work in Canada
• Able to repeatedly lift and move boxes weighing up to 50-70 lbs
• Previous container-unloading, warehouse or lumper experience is preferred
• Must have reliable transportation to client sites across the Greater Toronto Area
• Steel-toed safety boots and a safety vest are required
• Must be punctual, dependable and comfortable performing physically demanding work
• Must be able to follow pallet configurations, labels and sorting instructions

Schedule

• Assignments are scheduled based on inbound container volume
• Start times may vary
• Morning and weekday availability is preferred
• Workers must arrive at least 15 minutes before the confirmed start time
