Registered Nurse

Medical, Inpatient Surgical, and Med/Surg Overflow

Employment Type: Temporary Part-Time (until approximately April 4, 2027)

Reports to: Manager, Inpatient Units

Hours of Work: 12-hour shifts – days, nights & weekends

Rate of Pay: $41.15 - $58.98 per hour plus applicable shift premiums

We need Registered Nurses to join our Overflow team! You want to be part of our team to support CGMH in maintaining capacity with the surge anticipated over the upcoming winter season.

This role allows you to care for a diverse patient population while working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. You will support the temporary extended care in our Medica/Surgical/Overflow areas and may be assigned to either of the units based on acuity.

As The Successful Applicant, You Will Do The Following

• Contributes within the scope of an RN as a team member in the assessment, treatment, provision of care and health promotion for all patients
• Use supportive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative means while adhering to the standards mandated by the College of Nurses of Ontario.

What You’ll Bring

Required

• Current Certificate of Registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS

Preferred

• One year of applicable nursing experience
• Current ACLS
• Coronary Care 1 certification
• Experience with Meditech Expanse
