Title: Director, Primary Care - Northern Region.
Salary: $128,851 - $151,589 - $174,328 per year (pay range explained below).
Contract: Permanent.
Hours: 8:30am- 4:30pm, Mon- Fri (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri).
Location: Any of the FNHA Northern Regional Offices. A flexible work arrangement may be a possibility. Travel will be required across the entire Northern Region.
About The Role
The Director, Primary Care is a leadership role responsible for guiding the delivery, integration, and continuous improvement of nursing and primary care services across the FNHA Northern Region. Working closely with First Nations communities, health partners, and internal leaders, the Director champions culturally safe, high-quality care and leads teams in advancing innovative, community-driven health services.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have/be;
Education & Experience (REQUIRED)
- A Master’ degree in Nursing, Primary Care, Healthcare Administration, or a closely related clinical field.
- Registration and good standing with an appropriate College or Professional Regulatory Body (e.g., BCCNM, CPSBC, CIPHI, etc.).
- Relevant, recent and significant experience in the provision of senior level strategic and operational planning.
- Relevant, recent and significant experience providing leadership to and partnering with senior level management on projects, initiatives and collaborative.
- Experience in providing clinical leadership to internal and external relationships in Primary Care.
- Experience leading and managing major projects and clinical teams.
- Experience working with First Nation leadership and interest groups.
- Experience working and leading teams with defined regulatory practice.
Education & Experience (Asset)
- Strong relationships or lived experience with First Nation communities is a strong preference.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
