Associate Lawyer - Corporate & Commercial at Synectics Inc.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle M&A transactions, including asset and share purchases, due diligence, and closings.
• Advise on incorporations, corporate reorganizations, amalgamations, and ongoing corporate matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate shareholder, partnership, commercial, franchise, contractor, and employment agreements.
• Manage files independently, maintain client relationships, and meet deadlines.
• Support and mentor summer and articling students as needed.

Requirements

• 1-6 years of post-call experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple files independently and exercise sound business judgment.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach.
• Real estate and wills and estates experience is an asset.
