ASD-S - Casual Student Attendant - Hampton Education Centre at Anglophone School District

Anglophone South School District is seeking Casual Student Attendants to provide support to students with exceptional needs on an as-needed basis.

Casual Student Attendants support students with exceptional needs by providing assistance with mobility, personal care, supervision, and transportation to and from school. Student Attendants play an important role in helping ensure students are safe, comfortable, and supported while fostering a positive and inclusive environment. 

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write and follow instructions.
• Ability to relate effectively to students with exceptional needs.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Employer-required training to support the specialized needs of students may be required.
   

Please Note: Due to the nature of this casual role, assignments are often offered on short notice. Applicants should reside within ASD-S boundaries or within reasonable proximity to assigned locations. Applicants residing outside the ASD-S region should explain in their application how they would meet this requirement.
