St. Albert Dental Choice is a new, modern dental practice offering an exciting opportunity to join a growing team. Our office is equipped with modern dental technology, including iTero digital scanning and air polishing equipment, to support exceptional patient care.

As one of our early team members, you'll have the opportunity to help shape our office culture, build lasting patient relationships, and grow alongside a supportive team that values collaboration, professional development, and quality dentistry.

What You'll Do

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play an important role in helping our patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Providing comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care.
• Performing dental hygiene assessments, scaling, root planing, and polishing.
• Utilizing air polishing technology as part of preventive and periodontal maintenance care.
• Educating patients on oral hygiene techniques and personalized home-care recommendations.
• Utilizing modern dental technology, including iTero digital scanning, to support patient assessments, education, and treatment planning.
• Identifying and communicating oral health concerns and treatment recommendations.
• Building trusting relationships and helping patients feel comfortable during their appointments.
• Promoting periodontal health and supporting patients with ongoing periodontal maintenance.
• Taking diagnostic radiographs as required.
• Collaborating with dentists and the clinical team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Creating a positive patient experience through empathy, communication, and genuine care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Registered and in good standing to practise dental hygiene in Alberta.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with air polishing technology and iTero digital scanners is an asset.
