Eastlink is looking for an Access Engineering IP Planner that will be part of our Engineering, Capacity Management Planning team. The Access Engineering IP Planner will be responsible for managing and implementing IPs on Eastlink’s hybrid fiber coax (HFC) and passive optical network (PON) access networks. A strong knowledge of IP networking is a requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor IP usage on internet access network elements
  • Manage the allocation and optimal usage of IP blocks
  • Head projects related to the distribution of IPs
  • Aid in the deployment of the access network architecture
  • Aid in the development and documenting standards and strategies for the Internet Access Network
  • Create regular reports for senior management on the capacity of the Access Network Elements
  • Provide support to operational teams with new technologies and best practices
