Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze user requirements, recommending suitable options and drafting recommended solutions based on gathered information.
  • Conduct technical analysis and assist in the implementation of software solutions for new and ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to city policies and processes.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, project planning, and estimating, collaborating closely with clients, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Provide direction to other project resources as part of the solution implementation, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of technology solutions.
  • Coordinate project tasks with clients, vendors, and internal partners, preparing test plans/cases and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Prepare and deliver status reports, formal presentations, and other project artifacts, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Transition solutions to support teams with required documentation, ensuring consistent transition and support for implemented solutions.

Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years' experience in designing, implementing, performing upgrades, configuring, troubleshooting and documenting software solutions;
  • Three (3) years' experience in Large scale software package application
  • Three (3) years' experience in an analysis role demonstrating the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy; and
  • Three (3) years' experience dealing with design considerations, staff impact analysis, and implementation timelines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels;
  • Proficiency in documenting requirements and other project required artifacts; and
  • Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations.
