Job Description

Clean Harbors Red Deer, AB is looking for a Class 1, winch truck driver to join their safety conscious team!

We are looking for someone who has a learner's mindset, and positive attitude. This role will be operating a Winch Truck, moving Oilfield and Solids Control Equipment within Alberta and possibly the USA.

Please be advised it is mandatory for candidates to hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive certifications prior to starting this position. Proof of certifications will be requested during the recruitment process. Border Crossing will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Drives, operates and maintains the Winch Truck.
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections.
  • Ensures cleanliness of equipment.
  • Completes all required paperwork and attends daily safety meetings.
  • Working as a part of a team with Customer, Coworkers & Supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-year experience operating Winch Truck.
  • Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day);
  • Class 1 Driver’s License is required.
  • Preferably 2-year oilfield experience preferred.
  • Capable of working outdoors for extended periods of time.
  • Valid Passport with ability to cross the US border.
