The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in fluvial geomorphology, hydrology, and open-channel hydraulics and interest in or experience with stream restoration, river systems, natural sciences, and aquatic ecosystems.

- Bachelor’s degree in relevant geoscience or engineering discipline (e.g., physical geography, geology, water resources engineering, environmental engineering)
- 2+ years of relevant experience in the environmental consulting industry

- Collect, compile, manage and assess geomorphology, hydrology, and hydraulic data
- Contribute to fluvial geomorphology and open-channel hydraulic assessments
- Technical report writing
- Work collaboratively across offices and disciplines

- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Membership, or eligibility for membership, with Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) or Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) would be considered an asset
- Experience with erosion hazard assessments (e.g. meander belts), erosion threshold analyses, and headwater drainage feature assessments
- Familiarity with GIS software
- Experience completing fluvial geomorphology field work such as measuring bankfull cross-sections
- Familiarity with total station and RTK GPS survey methods
- The ability to travel to remote areas safely and efficiently to undertake fieldwork
