Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our client’s team as an Accounting Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring both general and trust bank accounts, ensuring the accuracy of incoming client funds, and maintaining proper documentation for all transactions. Additionally, the role involves reviewing and processing accounts payable payments in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Finance
- Monitor both general and trust bank accounts daily
- Communicate with banking service advisors as needed
- Report unusual transactions to the Assistant Controller
- Ensure proper documentation for all transactions
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations
- Accounting functions
- Review and verify invoices and expense reports
- - Prepare and process accounts payable payments within due dates
