Description:
As a Mental Health Aide, you will work as a collaborative member of the multidisciplinary team to provide a welcoming and safe care environment. You will assist in the provision of direct patient/client care as delegated in a person-centered, recovery oriented and safe manner. In this position, you will assist and / or promote independence to patients/clients in completing activities of daily living as well as assisting other health professionals with providing treatments and observing and reporting relevant patient/client information to professional staff. You will assist new patients/clients and families with orientation, and assist in the general support of the work area.
Classification: Mental Health Aide Union: AUPE AUX Unit and Program: Unit 39 Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Primary Location: Red Deer Regional Hospital Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 0.80 Posting End Date: 07-OCT-2024 Temporary Employee Class: Temp P/T Benefits Date Available: 17-OCT-2024 Temporary End Date: 23-JUN-2025 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 12 Shifts per cycle: 48 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Weekends Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $22.67 Maximum Salary: $26.43 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable
Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12. A combination of education and experience satisfactory to the employer will also be considered.
