Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you excel in fast-paced environments? If so, Red Deer Home Centre presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for part-time Home Centre Associates to join our dynamic team.
Position: Home Centre Associate
Part-time: 24 – 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and respond to customer questions
- Familiarize yourself with our product range
- Stay updated on new product details to ensure comprehensive product knowledge
- Cashier duties; Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions
- Prepare special orders and manage inventory
- Replenish shelves and contribute to inventory audits
- Assist in merchandise displays
- Perform sales calls with efficiency
- Participate in tasks such as loading products and cutting flooring
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
- Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
