The Welder is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per customer demands. Responsibilities And Duties

  • Work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Pre-use inspection on equipment before starting the job.
  • Read and interpret drawings per the job.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment (SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW)
  • Select proper tooling for the job.
  • Set up on weld positioner/spinner.
  • Follow appropriate work instructions per the job and adhere to weld procedures.
  • Follow the QHSE policy and procedures.
  • Communicate process and safety improvements throughout the shop.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Journeyman red seal welder.
  • B pressure experience an asset.
  • Heat treat experience an asset.
  • Overhead crane and forklift experience.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.
