Position Information

Temporary until approximately March 31, 2025.

Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts

Basic Requirements

  • Four-year Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Adult Education, or related discipline;
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in computerized staff scheduling in a complex, unionized environment, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Employee Scheduling System
  • Knowledge of TOH Collective Agreements, TOH Policies, and the Employment Standards Act;
  • Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Suite, Outlook);
  • Excellent coordinating and project management skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities;
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team and participate in work-related initiatives, as well as independently with self-direction;
  • Ability to lead and motivate people.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a corporate trainer role, developing and delivering training materials;
  • Previous experience with course development, including experience in the development of curriculum and learning activities;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze individual and group learning difficulties to determine appropriate learning strategies;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instruction and evaluation techniques;
  • Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
