Basic Purpose of Position:

Participate in corporate and departmental project team initiatives for systems / applications. Manage and maintain highly integrated software solutions in a distributed environment for the various business units. Manage and maintain documentation for new or existing systems, processes, procedures, and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support software applications using C#, React, and AngularJS frameworks.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Stay current with technology changes and software development best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical advice and consulting help to users on request.
  • Manage the ongoing support of existing systems ensuring quality customer service and minimized downtime.
  • Implement authorized requests for changes necessitated by modifications to company policies, procedures and/or external factors such as ITIL compliance.
  • Writing SQL statements.
  • Create and update data.
  • Act as liaison for system upgrades, shutdowns, server builds, server reboots.
  • Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or formal computer training/experience in systems analysis and design.
  • Information Technology Diploma is preferred.
  • Experience in React, C# and SQL scripting.
  • Proven ability to perform in a team environment and strong relationship building skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills required, as well as excellent attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Capable of teaching and transferring knowledge of system functionality expertise.
