About The Role

HUB continues to experience explosive growth and is seeking a dynamic Leader to join our Personal Insurance Leadership Team. This is an ideal role for a strong people leader with Personal Lines Insurance experience who is career driven, has a strong focus on employee engagement and customer experience. The role reports to our Personal Insurance Executive Leader.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide effective leadership by motivating a team of insurance brokers, coaching and mentoring them to meet performance targets, adhere to company and industry standards, and provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Foster a culture of professional growth and development among team members
  • Build and maintain relationships with insurance company partners and stakeholders
  • Establish and recommend strategies, policies and processes to improve the business
  • Provide insight and direction to drive the company forward as a member of the Personal Insurance Leadership team
  • Participate in the development and implementation of business plans and manage day-to-day operations to achieve key business goals

Qualifications And Expertise That Pave The Way For Success

  • 5+ years of Personal Insurance leadership experience
  • RIBO License (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) in good standing required
  • Demonstrated success in building, engaging, and developing teams
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute on vision
  • A proven track record of achieving organizational objectives through effective leadership
  • Strong knowledge of home and auto insurance underwriting policies
  • Industry designations such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, or FCIP an asset
