What will you be doing?

This location is in Puslinch and working with precast concrete made by pouring concrete into a mould . Performing a variety of production duties including setting up forms, installing inserts, removing excess concrete. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

General Labourer

• You will be assisting with preparing concrete forms
• Assisting machine operators with equipment to move and handle concrete
• Assisting with cutting and placing rebar wire
• Trained on finishing the concrete moulds
• Removing finished product form moulds
• Quality inspecting of moulds and adding stencils
• Cleaning work area by sweeping and removal of concrete on moulds and equipment
• Working in the mixer to clean out concrete
• All positions mostly work indoor but sometimes outdoors is required
• PPE will be provided for all positions except work boots
  
  
  

About you and what is required:

• Works well with others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift heavy objects (Up to 50lbs)
• Punctual and can be relied on to show up as scheduled and is available for any shift (day, afternoons & nights)
• Motivated with a high standard for producing quality work
• An eye for detailed inspection to ensure our quality standards are met
• When working in the mixer you will be required to wear a face mask that is fitted so you must be clean shaven.
• Committed to creating and maintaining a safe work environment and behaviors
  
  
  

Must have for work:

• Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation for safety onsite
• Construction or heavy industrial experience an asset
• Safety BOOTS, your ankles must be covered by boot. Not shoes
• Can be dusty, people with allergies might be affected
• Must be clean shaven if working in mixer – not optional
• No Jewelry can be warn anywhere in the facility
  
  
  

Employment Details

Pay: Hourly starts @ $24.70 after 3 months increases to $29.15.

Schedule: Must be flexible for all – We have multiple straight shifts.

Location: Oakville, ON
