Our Group Insurance team is looking for a Group Sales Agent. Reporting to the Manager - Partner and Relationships, the role is responsible for coordinating information received following the sale of a new group or the addition of a new division.This includes validating the information received at the sale versus the information received at the submission to ensure consistency. According to established procedures, the policyholder must make the decision to recalculate rates, list any discrepancies, and consult with the underwriter on the file if necessary to confirm acceptance of the risk to the customer.

In order to proceed with the implementation of a group and when the information is not complete, the holder is responsible for preparing and sending communications and confirmations to the customer. He is also responsible for organizing the documentation received from the customer in the system.

This role is requested to create the requests for adding benefit following the final confirmation received from the customer.

The chosen candidate participates in the submission process, which includes inputting the required information into thecalculation system, highlighting discrepancies between requested benefits versus system capabilities, and identifying certain discrepancies versus our standard contract, in order to properly inform the underwriter who will work on the file.

Qualifications
  • Strong oral and written skills in French and English
  • Basic knowledge of group insurance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (especially Excel)
  • Analytical skills
